3D geometry creation of traditional ink pen as exercise of industrial design methods. An addition to the 3D design of the physical product, would be a way to brand it and provide it a point of sale.

It always bugged me that the clip geometry of a pen, whether on the pen’s barrel or cap, threw off the axial symmetry of the object. This feature is used to keep the pen from rolling off table-tops, so I can’t get rid of it, but perhaps I could balance it out, creating symmetrical geometry.
